Jamshedpur, November 18. Members of Jharkhandi Bhasha Khatian Sangharsh Samiti (JBKSS) created a ruckus on Saturday, alleging encroachment of the land of Neel Sarovar located in Kadma Uliyan.
The committee members gathered at the Samadhi site in Ulyan and from there reached Neel Sarovar shouting slogans with traditional weapons.
 The police already present here tried to stop them but everyone forcibly entered inside and raised slogans. The committee alleged that the said land is in the name of Late Ganesh Chandra Mahato, hence a board in his name should be installed at the said site.
Committee member Anoop Mahato said that the lake land is being forcibly occupied by health minister Banna Gupta, Tata Steel and other anti-social elements, which is not fair.
Large number of police personnel including DSP CCR Animesh Gupta, Kadma police station and QRT team reached the spot and tried to explain, but the protesters were adamant on their demands.
On receiving the information, SDO Piyush Sinha also reached the spot and talked to the committee members. Even after about half an hour of talks, no decision was reached. SDM said that higher officials will be informed about the entire matter.
