Jamshedpur, November 18. The police on Saturday sent JMM leader Satyanarayan Gaur alias Sattu Gaur, his son Mohit Gaur and nephew Harikishan Gaur to judicial custody in connection with the firing in East Plant Basti under Burmamines police station.
Police have also seized two licensed 12 bore barrel guns, 5 live cartridges, 7 shells, two swords and two cars used in the incident.

The accused Rishiraj Singh is absconding in the case. In this case, the police have registered two separate FIRs, in which one FIR has been lodged against Satyanarayan Gaur, Mohit Gaur, Harikishan Gaur and Rishiraj Singh on the statement of Pradeep Mallik, while the other FIR has been lodged on the statement of Suresh Sahu for breaking into the house and assault.
The police has started the process of cancelling the license of the licensed weapon, while there has been no improvement in the situation of the injured Pravesh. He is undergoing treatment in the ICU ward of TMH.
Incidentally on Friday afternoon, local people had stopped Satyanarayan Gaur’s son Mohit for rash driving in East Plant Basti. A dispute started from here after which Satyanarayan Gaur took out a double barrel gun and started firing. The bullet hit Pravesh’s head. After the incident, people admitted him to TMH.
