Jamshedpur : Jharkhand State Minority Commission president , Dr. Shahid Akhtar tioday chaired a meeting in Ranchi At the meeting it was also resolved that the Central Government has given minority status to Jain community.
Responding to this state government will include the Jain community in minority category. A delegation of Jain community had met Jharkhand Minority Commission President and sought minority status for the community.
The delegation had said that similar on the lines of other states Jharkhand must also consider Jain community as minority.
