Jamshedpur: Unidentified thieves took away cash, coins and goods worth Rs 3 lakh from a shop situated near Tatanagar Railway Station late Tuesday night. The shop, Tinku General Store, is situated on the Station Road close to the Station traffic post. Sources said the thieves took away coins and notes worth Rs 40,000 along with goods kept in the shop. The shop owner, Tinku Choudhary, learnt about the incident around 8 am today when he opened the shop. An FIR was lodged in this connection at Bagbera police station. Sources said Bagbera has witnessed a spurt in thefts in the past couple of months.
