Prominent residents pledge against polythene use

Jamshedpur, October 2: Sarvoday Samiti on Sunday organised a seminar on ‘Gandhiji aur Manavta’ at Telco Recreation Club were prominent residents pledged to minimize the use of polythene in their daily life on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. At the event people were provided bags made of cotton cloth.

Chief guest for the occasion DPRO Sanjay Kumar and TML Drivelines general manager Pramod Choudhary urged the people to minimize the use of polythene and informed their ill effects.

Also present at the event were TML Drivelines union leader RK Singh shed light on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. The programme was headed by Riyazuddin Khan while Manoj Kumar hosted.

The welcome address was given by Niraj Dubey while Arun Kumar extended the vote of thanks. Also present were Ehsan Sirji, Akhilesh Choudhary, Sanjay Sinha, Kamlesh Yadav, Amar Nath Choubey, Sindh Kumar Singh and others.
