Jamshedpur: A total of 45 development projects worth Rs 16.27 crore were approved by the district administration on Wednesday during a meeting of the Zila Parishad.
Projects related to proposed repair of several ponds were also passed at the meeting. The meeting was presided over by the Zila Parishad chairperson Sonia Samant.
It was also attended by the deputy development commissioner (DDC) Dr Lalmohan Mahato, vice chairperson Anita Devi and other councilors and officials.
The Zila Parishad member Rajkumar Singh told the DDC that the proposals should be signed soon after approval and implemented as soon as possible. He alleged that many projects approved earlier were not implemented.
