Project Girls High School Patamda converted into ‘Happy School’

Jamshedpur, Oct 27: The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East, marked a significant milestone during the official club visit of District President Alokananda Bakshi for the 2024-25 term. The event took place at Project Girls High School, Patamda, where the club inaugurated “Happy School”, the project aimed at creating a positive learning environment for students.

The project involved several key upgrades to the school’s facilities, transforming it into a “Happy Learning Place” with the following improvements: Renovation of existing toilets, including the construction of a roof to create new pink toilets, provision of clean drinking water for the students, establishment of a library with 101 books to encourage reading and learning, donation of sports equipment specifically for the girls, installation of a sanitary pad vending machine, setup of a sick room, along with the donation of a premium first aid kit and a weighing machine by past president Vinita Jha,

The event saw active participation from the students, who showcased a street play on the importance of first aid, adding a practical and educational element to the day’s activities.

The Inner Wheel Club’s efforts are set to have a lasting impact on the school, providing the girls with a more conducive and supportive learning environment.
