Priyanshu and Manpreet bag All rounder student award at DBMS College graduation nite

Jamshedpur, Aug 20: DBMS College of Education organised graduation Nite on Saturday. The ceremony unfolded in the auditorium, graced by esteemed guests including Dr. Jayant Shekhar, Registrar of Kolhan University, as the chief guest, and Dr. Sanjeev Anand.
The distinguished attendees included Bhanumati Neelkanthan, the Patron of the DBMS Trust, BK Chandrasekhar, the College Chairperson of Finance, Sripriya Dharmarajan, Secretary, along with other members of the DBMS Trust, the College Principal, Dr. Juhi Samarpita, and Vice Principal, Dr. Monika Uppal.
The event began on a spiritual note with a captivating Ganesh Vandana presented by the college’s music teacher, Amrita Chowdhary, and the B.Ed. students.


Dr. Juhi Samarpita, the college’s principal, commenced the proceedings by delivering the annual report. This was followed by the report from Sripriya Dharmarajan, the college secretary. B. Chandrashekhar, Chairperson of the DBMS Trust, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, emphasizing the institution’s commitment to providing excellent facilities.
The ceremony continued with the presentation of various awards. Among them, the General Proficiency Award was bestowed upon Kajal Mahto from the B.Ed. 2020-22 batch, and K. Chandramani from the D.El.Ed. 2019-21 batch, with the honor presented by B.K. Chandrasekhar. Students who excelled in various subjects were also recognized, including M. Manisha for Hindi, Ashwini for English, Sana Parveen for Social Studies, and others.
Special recognition was extended to individuals who displayed exceptional dedication. The Principal’s Honor was awarded to Abhay Pratap from the B.Ed. 2020-22 batch, with the trophy presented by the Principal herself. Prem Nitish Lakda received the Trailblazer Award in memory of Late Shiv Shankar Singh, while D. Komal was honored with the Trend Setter Award, both acknowledging their unique contributions. Priyanshu Kumari and Manpreet Kaur received all rounder student award.
The ceremony concluded with heartfelt acknowledgments, including awards for attendance and performance. The chief guest, Dr. Jayant Shekhar, praised the college’s commitment to providing quality education. Dr. Sanjeev Anand, in his address, acknowledged the challenges of education and lauded DBMS College for its exceptional efforts in shaping the future.
As the evening drew to a close, Kajal Mahato, a B.Ed. 2020-22 student, presented her report, and the assembly witnessed the dedication of the Rotaract Club Badge.
