Jamshedpur, Feb 9: The graduation ceremony of Priya Cookery Class was held with grandeur, honouring women who have successfully completed their culinary training. The event saw the presence of esteemed guests, including Education minister Ramdas Soren, former MLA Kunal Sarangi, Vice Chancellor of Arka Jain University SS Razi, Special Guest Parul Singh, and social worker Purbi Ghosh. The distinguished guests presented certificates to the White Coat Chef, Black Coat Chef, and Star Performers, recognizing their achievements in the culinary field.
Addressing the gathering, Education Minister Shri Ramdas Soren congratulated Dr. Priya Gupta for her dedication to training women and helping them become self-reliant. Former MLA Kunal Sarangi applauded homemakers for transitioning into entrepreneurs, stating, “It is inspiring to see women turning their passion into a profession and even imparting these skills to students.”
Parul Singh emphasized women’s empowerment, asserting, “Women are capable of achieving anything. No one can stop them from succeeding.” Vice Chancellor SS Razi was deeply impressed to learn that Chef Priya Gupta has been leading this initiative for over 20 years, praising her commitment. Social worker Purbi Ghosh remarked, “With family and spousal support, women can achieve great heights, ultimately contributing to the nation’s progress.”
The event also honoured several women for their exceptional achievements. The sponsors were recognized by the chief guest, and towards the end, entrepreneur and social worker Nakul Kamani felicitated Priya Gupta and her team for their commendable efforts. The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, marking another successful year of empowering women through culinary education.
