Private sectors should work to boost up state revenue & local employment: CM

Jamshedpur/Ranchi, July 27: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that private sectors & Govt. machineries should work to boost up state revenue & local employment.

Stock transfer by the industries in the State leads to revenue deficit whereas state based marketing & distribution of a product brings in the commercial tax in the state leading to revenue collection which ultimately arranges facility for development in the state.

The Chief Minister said this while talking to Tata Motors Jamshedpur plant head A. B. Lal & S.K. Behera of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).

The representatives of Tata Motors & CII assured the Chief Minister to submit status report after studying various factors of global as well as Indian marketing keeping the sales tax pattern once the GST is implemented.

In the meeting, Development Commissioner R. S. Poddar, Principal Secretary, Mining & Geological Department S. K. Satpathi, Commercial Tax Secretary Mrs. Nidhi Khare, Secretary to the Chief Minister Sanjay Kumar Burnwal & Industry Secretary Mrs. Himani Pande was present.
