President to Inaugurate Three New Trains at Badampahar Station on Nov 21

Jamshedpur: President Draupadi Murmu is set to inaugurate three new trains in Rairangpur on November 21. These trains will operate through the Badampahar-Rairangpur station, and the railways have made extensive preparations for the event. Railway General Manager (GM) AK Mishra personally oversaw the ongoing development works at Badampahar and Rairangpur railway stations during a recent inspection.

On Tuesday, GM AK Mishra inspected the Badampahar section and conducted a final review of the arrangements made for the President’s visit. He arrived in Tatanagar on his special train early on Tuesday and proceeded to Badampahar from there. During the inspection, DRM Chakradharpur Arun J Rathore and divisional officers from various departments accompanied him. The GM held discussions with officials and provided numerous directives during the inspection. After completing the inspection, GM AK Mishra returned to Tatanagar station in the evening and later left to attend the Prime Minister’s program.

Draupadi Murmu, after becoming the President, will visit her hometown of Rairangpur after 15 months. During this visit, she is expected to present significant railway-related gifts to the local residents. The President is scheduled to inaugurate the Shalimar-Badampahar Weekly Express, Badampahad-Rourkela Weekly Express, and Tatanagar-Badampahad MEMU special train at Badampahar station under the Chakradharpur Railway Division. Additionally, she will lay the foundation stone for several development projects in the Badampahar-Rairangpur section. The railway authorities are diligently working to ensure that the inauguration ceremony becomes a historic event. Chakradharpur Railway Division officials are closely monitoring the progress of the work and are actively preparing for the President’s arrival, with Railway GM Anil Kumar Mishra taking a keen interest in the development of the Badampahar-Rairangpur section.
