Jamshedpur, June 18: With the JEE Advanced 2015 results out, it is celebration time at Jamshedpur�s leading coaching institute for engineering entrance exams � Prerna Classes.
Bistupur based Institute�s students turned out trumps yet again at the national level competitive exam. Akash Kumar Dutta, a student of the two year classroom programme offered by Prerna Classes has scored the highest rank in the state of Jharkhand by securing 144 (AIR) in JEE Advanced.
Besides this, four students from the centre were placed under 1000 AIR while two students were under 2000 AIR making it the best performance among coaching centres in Jamshedpur.
Some of the top scorers of Prerna Classes are: Akash Kumar Dutta � 144 (AIR ), Sumeet Khandelwal- 350 (AIR), Kaustav Brahma- 862 (AIR), Sunit Kumar Singh- 907 (AIR), Utkarsh Tyagi- 979 (AIR), Avinash Kumar-1779 (AIR), Shubham Choudhary -1820 (AIR), Aman Raj -2520 (AIR), Sneh Srivastava -2607(AIR), Anis Kumar Majhi -2616 (AIR) were the top ten rankers of the institute.
Till the filing of the report, 118 students had qualified out of 390 appeared and number will go up according to the Director of the institute, Pramod Dubey.
�Last year 130 students qualified the JEE Advanced and in 2015 till 6 PM 118 students qualified and the number will surpass 130 achieved last year. To take out result this year we faced a harrowing time as the website appeared complicated, said Dubey adding that though we are satisfied with the results but not a single student appearing in top 100 is a drawback as last year Kishlay Raj was ranked 77 (AIR)�.
In 2014 only one of our students was in top 1000 in the country but this year we have 5 students which in itself is a big achievement.
It is a hard work put in by the teachers and students in the last 2 years but it�s time to pull up our socks as other parts of the country are proving as warriors, said Prerna Director. In SC category Pranay Kumar Urma was 1023 (AIR), in ST Bishnu Murmu was 207 (AIR).
In Girls Snigdha Pathak stood 5279 (AIR).
This is not the first time that Prerna Classes has outscored other centres in Jamshedpur.
