Jamshedpur, June 18: After the state government awarded major reshuffle senior IPS officer Anoop T Mathew took charge as the new senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Jamshedpur from Amol V Homkar on Thursday, June 18.
Anoop was earlier posted as Superintendent of Police, Dumka district. Amol V Homkar, IPS officer of 2004 batch, has been transferred to the CID, Ranchi as Superintendent of Police.
Around 10 IPS officers were reshuffled after the Jharkhand home department order on Tuesday, June 18.
