Jamshedpur: District administration here sped up preparations for the forthcoming state level �Swachhata Sammelan� (cleanliness conference) going to be organized at the Archery Ground of JRD Sports Complex on 10th December.
The deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar visited the programme venue on Thursday and directed the officials concerned to expedite preparations for the event.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar are expected to attend the event and inaugurate around 200 schemes and lay their foundation stone on the occasion.
The CM and the Union Minister will be felicitating those having worked towards achieving Open Defecation Free (ODF) status for various panchayats, villages and blocks of the state.
In view of the forthcoming programme, the DC had recently formed 10 different committees to organize the event. He directed the officials to complete the preparations through coordination.
