Jamshedpur, July 10: Gramin Football Academy registered an impressive 3-1 victory over Adivasi Green Sporting Club in the Premier Division match played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday.
Jaleswar Murmu opened the scoring for Gramin Football Academy in the 29th minute. Tarun Singh doubled the lead six minutes later, giving his side a comfortable 2-0 advantage at halftime. Tarun struck again immediately after the break in the 46th minute, effectively sealing the match. Adivasi Green Sporting Club managed a late consolation goal through Budhuram Murmu in the 81st minute, but Gramin Football Academy comfortably secured all three points with a dominant performance.
Super Division: Singhbhum Soccer Fan’s Club Fights Back to Earn 2-2 Draw
In the Super Division match at Telco Ground, Singhbhum Soccer Fan’s Club staged a spirited comeback to hold Babulal Soren Football Academy to a 2-2 draw.
Anup Hembrom gave Babulal Soren Football Academy the lead in the 27th minute, while Samir Soren doubled the advantage in the 72nd minute. Singhbhum Soccer Fan’s Club responded strongly as Pintu Murmu reduced the deficit in the 74th minute. Chandradev Murmu then scored the equaliser in the 85th minute, ensuring his team shared the points.
A Division (Group A): Jharkhand Bayar Records Comfortable Win
Jharkhand Bayar defeated Katin Football Club 2-0 in the A Division (Group A) match at Tinplate Ground.
Lakhpati Murmu put Jharkhand Bayar ahead in the 10th minute, and Raghunath Hansda doubled the lead just three minutes later. Despite Katin Football Club’s efforts to bounce back, Jharkhand Bayar maintained control throughout the match and earned a well-deserved victory to collect all three points.
