Pre-Baisakhi exhibition begins at Jamshedpur Bengal Club

Jamshedpur, April 3:A ‘Pre-Baisakhi’ exhibition aimed at empowering women has been launched at the Sakchi Bengal Club under the banner of “Enigma,” a Kolkata-based women-led organization. The exhibition, being held on the first floor of the club, will continue from April 3 to April 5.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Principal of DBMS B.Ed College, along with Tapas Mitra, President of Sakchi Bengal Club, General Secretary Soumya Sen, and social worker Vidisha Mukherjee.

Tapas Mitra praised the initiative, highlighting its role in providing a platform for women entrepreneurs. Elitra Sinha Mukherjee, head of the organization, stated that this is the 15th edition of the exhibition in Jamshedpur.

The exhibition showcases a wide variety of products, including sarees, kurtis, jewelry, and men’s wear, crafted by skilled artisans from Kolkata and Jamshedpur. Around 30 women entrepreneurs from Kolkata are participating, making the event a vibrant platform for promoting self-reliance and creativity among women.
