Jamshedpur : Zila Parishad member Pratima Rani Mandal of Potka was nominated as the president of East Singhbhum District Public Distribution System Committee on Friday. Zila Parishad president Bulu Rani Singh has sent a letter to Pratima Rani who assured to live up to the expectations of the people. The newly nominated PDS Committee member said she would raise the issues concerning PDS System and distribution of food-grains. She said a review meeting of all marketing officers and the district rationing officer should be convened soon so that relief may be given to the beneficiaries.
