Jamshedpur: The final day of nominations for the Jharkhand Municipal Elections 2026 witnessed heightened political activity in Jamshedpur, as two more candidates entered the race for the Mayor’s post of Mango Municipal Corporation. Pratibha Rani and Parvati Devi filed their nomination papers on Wednesday amid considerable enthusiasm.
Parvati Devi had earlier announced her candidature through a press conference, declaring her resolve to fight for the rights of the poor and marginalized sections. With the nomination of Pratibha Rani, the total number of candidates contesting for the Mango mayoral post has now crossed a dozen, making the contest increasingly competitive.
