Jamshedpur: The Prakash Utsav (birth anniversary) of Shiromani Bhagat Brahmagyani Baba Namdev Ji was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Hume Pipe Ground. The event was organized by the Hume Pipe Gurdwara Management Committee with the cooperation of the entire sangat.
Bhai Sahib Bhai Gurdeep Singh Nikku and Bhai Sahib Bhai Manjit Singh filled the atmosphere with spiritual fervor through soulful kirtan. During the congregation, the life and teachings of Baba Namdev Ji were highlighted, inspiring the devotees to follow the path of devotion and humility.
On this occasion, President of the Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Bhagwan Singh, Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh, General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Billa, Harwinder Singh Mantu, Harminder Singh Medi, President Paramjit Singh Roshan, Avinash Singh, Sukhdev Singh Bittu, Surendra Singh Shinde, Central Naujawan Sabha President Amrik Singh, Central Stri Sabha President Ravinder Kaur, General Secretary Sukhwant Kaur, and Paramjit Kaur were honored with siropas and mementos.
In his address, President Bhagwan Singh threw light on the life and spiritual contributions of Baba Namdev Ji. Chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh informed the sangat about the upcoming religious programs dedicated to the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, to be held across various Gurdwaras in Jamshedpur from November 17 to 25.
Stage manager Sukhwinder Singh announced that a Nagar Kirtan will be taken out from Sonari Gurdwara on the occasion of the Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
