Jamshedpur, June 12: MGM Hospital experienced a sudden power failure on Monday morning, causing a state of chaos within the premises. The lack of power backup aggravated the situation, with relatives of patients resorting to using mobile phone torches for light. However, the oppressive heat made the situation unbearable for everyone. Distressingly, even patients in the burn ward were seen venturing out of their rooms.

At 10 o’clock in the morning, a power outage struck the hospital, lasting until noon. During this time, two individuals became trapped in the lift of the surgery ward due to the power failure. As the power went out, the lift came to an abrupt halt, leaving the occupants stranded in the middle. Despite efforts to open the lift doors by calling a technician, both individuals remained trapped inside.

After two long hours, the electricity was finally restored, allowing the authorities to rescue the trapped individuals from the lift. The incident highlights the dire consequences of the power failure, leaving the victims in a distressing situation for an extended period.
