Jadugora: Parvati Murmu of Balijuri village under Potka block has become a source of inspiration for many these days.
She works hard at her shop and is able to bear the expenses of her children’s school education. She is accompanied by her husband Sitaram Murmu.
The couple repair bicycles by helping each other. She has been running her shop at Balijuri Chowk on the Jadugora-Kalikapur main road for the last 10 years.
After seeing her dedication, many more women in the village are trying to acquire such skill so that they may earn a living.
