Potka: Tetla panchayat of Potka block is one of the 10 best panchayats selected for Pundit Deen Dayal Panchayat Empowerment Award scheme. A team of state government visited Potka to verify the facts claimed by the district administration while nominating Potka for the said award.
Sources said the team comprised the assistant director of Panchayati Raj department for Daltonganj, Vijay Kumar Singh, and lecturer of Panchayat Training Institute, Hazaribagh, Ashok Kumar Jha. The team went through various panchayat documents and also sought information regarding the panchayat activities.
