Potka Mukhiyas to agitate against teachers� transfers

Jamshedpur: Members of Mukhiya Sangh, Potka, have decided to wage an agitation against the transfer posting of local teachers. They held a meeting in this connection at Ghatsila. It was decided to hold the next meeting in Ghatsila on 15th October. Chairing the meeting, the outfit president Ganesh Sardar said the teachers transferred to Potka just three months ago were re-transferred elsewhere. He said the practice was wrong and that it smacked of corruption. He demanded that the vacant posts in government schools be filled through deputation of teachers from other schools. The meeting was also attended by Sunil Munda, Savitri Hansda, Pano Baskey, Saraswati Murmu and Rukmani Murmu.
