Pond renovation project inaugurated in Potka

Jamshedpur: MP Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato and Potka MLA Menka Sardar jointly inaugurated a pond renovation project in Kalikapur under Potka block on Friday. Local Mukhiya Chandmuni Mahali was also present on this occasion. A fund of Rs 68 lakh would be spent on renovation of Dolai pond spread across 13 acres of land in the village. This would greatly help the farmers of Kalikapur, Manhada and Matkudih. The villagers would also be encouraged to take to fish farming for a living, said the MLA.
