Ranchi, Oct 21: With the forthcoming civic elections in Jharkhand, political activity across the state is gaining momentum. While party-based campaigns remain limited, political parties have begun mobilizing their grassroots workers to contest the polls.
The Congress Party has already formed ward-level committees and initiated groundwork for the elections. The JMM-Congress alliance appears to be showing early signs of coordination, though the situation remains uncertain for the RJD, which has yet to gain significant traction.
Most parties have encouraged their local workers and aspiring candidates to independently enter the electoral field, though a few leaders have taken on the responsibility of supporting and guiding their candidates.
Meanwhile, anticipation continues to build as the list of reserved seats for ward and mayoral positions has not yet been released. Once the official notification is issued, political activity across the state is expected to intensify further.
