Jamshedpur: District BJP president Dinesh Kumar assailed the district police on Thursday for allegedly using saffron clad men with tilak on their foreheads as rioters during mock drills held at Golmuri Police Lines.
Speaking to the SSP Anoop Birtharay, the BJP leader said the police should not hurt religious sentiments of any community by symbolizing them as anti-social elements.
Kumar demanded a probe to identify the guilty police officials who had used saffron clad youths for mock drill. He said attempts were being made in the country by pseudo-secularists to make Hindus their soft target.
