Noamundi: A search operation was launched by a district police team led by police inspector of Kiriburu, Chhote Lal Paswan, from BadaJamda to Noamundi on Sunday.
The inspector said the search was carried out as a precautionary measure ahead of Lok Sabha election.
The team searched various places in the forest, bushy areas and road bridges and other places in search of warrantees and absconders.
Noamundi police station officer in-charge Digvijay singh was there during the operation with Bindeswari Das, officer in-charge of Gua police station.
