Jamshedpur: Seraikela-Kharsawan police carried out attachment proceedings against three alleged gangsters accused in the murder of notorious gangster Chandan Singh.
The three accused whose houses were attached today were identified as Sunny Singh, Ashish Pati and Ganesh Pramanik alias Petu. The attachment of property belonging to the accused persons was carried out in Gamharia, Adityapur and Kandra with the help of local police officials.
The first attachment took place in Adarsh Nagar at Gamharia where cops seized the property belonging to Sunny Singh. Later, cops went to Bolaidih to attach the house of Ganesh Pramanik. In the end, the house of Ashish Pati was attached in Basko Nagar.
The cops present on the occasion included the officer in-charge of Adityapur PS Jai Prakash Rana, officer in-charge of Kandra PS Vijay Kumar Singh and the officer in-charge of Gamharia PS Arvind Kumar Singh. A huge contingent of armed police was also present to deal with exigency situations.
Cops said the attachment was carried out in connection with the murder of Chandan Singh on 13th February last. An FIR was lodged against the accused persons on the statement of Chandan�s mother. The accused persons are reportedly absconding since the day of killing.
