Jamshedpur, Dec 3: Seraikela-Kharsawan police cracked down on group of burglars and arrested five thieves from Kapali area on Tuesday, December 3. The arrested five including Aqeel Ansari, Amiruddin Ansari, Mohammed Nasim, Mahammed Azad and Mohammed Peru have been detained by the police and police has seized nine mobile phones, Rs 28000 cash, gold and silver jewellery, bunch of keys with a master key and other items.
Talking about the matter Seraikela SP Inderjeet Mahanta said that the arrested five have been involved in several criminal activities in the area leaving several families troubled, arrested five have been sent to jail seven times in the past and with the arresting of them the area will now become hushed.
Mahanta further said that the gang used to decamp jewellery and cash from the houses where the family members went out of station. The arrested were first taken to Kapali Police station and after that all the five will be sent behind bars, added Mahanta.
