Jamshedpur, Dec 3: A 6- year old girl died during treatment at MGM Hospital after being hit by Tata Magic (four wheeler goods vehicle) while she was playing outside his house on Tuesday, December 3.
Riya Yadav the deceased who was a resident of Babudih Lal Bhatta was playing outside her house and around 1 pm the speedy vehicle came and hit her and she was left seriously injured.
Soon her family members and neighbours took her to MGM hospital where during treatment she died. The driver fled away from the scene and as the news of her death spread several locals of Babudih along with her family members started protest and tried to ransack the hospital property.
The police officials along with Congress leaders Anand Bihari Dubey and Rakesh Sahu reached the spot and tried to convince the family members of Riya, after which the body was sent to postmortem and police has assured of immediate action against the culprits. It may also be noted that the speedy vehicle was used to carry scrap goods.
