Police arrest 3 TPC militants

Ranchi: Police have arrested three militants of militant outfit TPC. Addressing a press conference, Rural SP Harish Bin Jama said that the bridge connecting Chanho Thana Choda and Budhamu is being constructed. A levy of Rs 5 lakh was demanded through a WhatsApp call to the owner of the bridge construction company on September 6. The demand for levy was made by TPC area commander Vikram Gaju. He also threatened to shoot and stop the work if he did not pay.

In this case, an FIR was registered in the police station on September 6. The SP said that considering the seriousness of the case, a team was formed under the leadership of Khalari DSP Animesh Naithani. And while taking action, he was arrested.

Arrested militants include Govind Kumar Yadav, Mo Faraj Alam and Ghulam Ghaus. The police have recovered seven different mobile phones, two SIM cards and four Aadhaar cards from the criminal.
