PM to flag off Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat on June 26, AC Chair Car ticket to cost Rs 890

Ranchi, June 15: The trial run of the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat train was successfully completed. The train reached Ranchi station 23 minutes before its scheduled time. The train will be flagged off virtually by PM Narendra Modi on June 26. The railway official told that two types of seats will be available for passengers in the train, executive class and AC chair car. The fare for Executive Class (EC) will be Rs 1760 and for AC Chair Car will be Rs 890. Catering charge has not been added to this.

There are a total of 78 seats in the AC chaircar in the train, while there are only 56 seats in the executive class. There are three seats on one side and two on the other side. There is facility to keep food, drink and mobile with every seat. There is a facility of foot stand under each seat. Apart from this, the train has on-board Wi-Fi, GPS based passenger information system, vacuum toilet, LED light, charging point under each seat, water bottle stand, hand dryer in toilet, hot case, hot water dispenser. Machine, reading light under every seat, CCTV, passengers will be able to get information about the speed of the train, where the train has reached, in what time the train will reach etc. in the display board.

The Vande Bharat train will stop at these 6 stations between Patna-Ranchi, according to the time table issued by the Railways during the trial, the Patna-Ranchi Vande Bharat train opened at 6:55 am from Patna Junction and reached Gaya at 8:20 am. It had a halt of about 10 minutes in Gaya. Starting from Gaya at 8:30 in the morning, this train reached Barkakana by 11:30 in the afternoon. This train will reach Ranchi at 1 pm.

This train will stop at six stations between Patna and Ranchi.
