PM Modi visit: CM�s principal secretary reviews preparations

Jamshedpur, April 20: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das� principal secretary-cum-state IPRD principal secretary Sanjay Kumar visited the JRD Tata Sports Complex here on Wednesday to review the progress of the preparations for the �Gram Uday se Bharat Uday� program on April 24, which is scheduled to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sanjay Kumar directed the concerned officials to ensure that there are no lapses during the Prime Minister�s visit to the steel city on April 24. According to him, Jharkhand is hosting the program which will be attended by several Chief Minister, Union Ministers and national leaders, and, hence, there should not be any scope for lapses.

�Everyone needs to put their best efforts to make the program a success,� he said.

While the state IPRD director Awdesh Kumar Pandey accompanied the principal secretary, several top officials from the district administration including the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amitabh Kaushal took stock of the preparations at the JRD Sports Complex. They also issued necessary instructions to the officials supervising the work.

The Deputy Commissioner took stock of the decoration of the dais, light and sound arrangement, seating arrangement of the delegates, accommodation, health and security of the guests and communication related issues.

Pandey, on his part, briefed the chief secretary regarding the preparations, including the seating arrangement of media personnel at the media center, means of sending news and other details. The principal secretary expressed satisfaction over the progress of the preparations.
