PM Modi stresses on nation building and youth empowerment in address to Vinoba Bhave University

Hazaribagh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly engaged with officials, teachers, non-teaching staff, and students at Vinoba Bhave University through a webcast, emphasizing the critical role of Indian universities and teachers in shaping the nation’s future. Addressing a packed Vivekananda auditorium at the university, PM Modi declared that India is in its “Amritkaal” (nectar period), urging universities to start working towards India’s development. He emphasized the responsibility of teachers to guide the youth and build a dedicated generation that can realize the dream of a developed India by 2047.
During his 30-minute address, PM Modi highlighted the symbolic connection between the words “Idea” and “India,” both starting with ‘I,’ signifying that change should begin with individuals. He invited suggestions from teachers and students on five points, with the best 10 suggestions set to be rewarded.
PM Modi stressed the importance of putting national interest first, urging citizens to remain vigilant and instill a sense of duty among the youth. He called on teachers to become role models for their students, emphasizing their influential role in shaping the youth’s consciousness.
The program, organized in collaboration with the University College of Engineering, featured Dr. KK Gupta as the presiding authority, Dr. Sukalyan Moitra as the organizing head, and Dr. M. Alam as the University Registrar. PM Modi’s address aimed to inspire a new consciousness among the youth, aligning their efforts toward the collective goal of a developed India.
