PLFI area commander arrested arrested from Khunti

Ranchi: PLFI area commander Shravan Das alias Faguwa Das has been arrested by the police from Birta hill area of Rania police station area. According to reports, a desi katta, two live cartridges of .315 bore, four live cartridges of one-47, PLFI form and mobile phone have been recovered from his possession.

Speaking on the arrest of the banned organisation PLFI’s area commander, Torpa SDPO Om Prakash Tiwari said that the police had received secret information that the area commander of PLFI was in the forests of Shravan Das alias Fagua Das village Virata. He was constantly on the run.

Acting on a tip-off of location of the accused, the team was formed under the leadership of SDPO of Torpa on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar for necessary action. The team raided and arrested Shravan Das. According to the SDPO, he was trying to strengthen the organization again.

PLFI’s arrested area commander Nichitpur is a resident of Sadan Toli police station Rania. There are already cases against Shravan Das under various serious sections in Murhu police station, two in Taserp police station, one in Rania police station and in Karra police station. The raiding team included SDPO Om Prakash Tiwari, Police Inspector Digvijay Singh of Torpa zone, Ranjit Kishore, police station in -charge of Tapakara, Ranjit Kishore, Rania police station in -charge Satyajit Kumar, Rania police station under -inspector Nishant Kumar and Sandeep Kumar, besides armed forces.
