Plant saplings in the name of your kids: SSP

Jamshedpur: Senior Superintendent of Police, Jamshedpur, Anoop Birtharay on Tuesday appealed to the residents of steel city to plant saplings in the name of their children. He was speaking on the occasion of a function organized at the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) office under the �Mera Poudha, Meri Santan� campaign.

The SSP handed birth certificates to five parents and also gifted them saplings on behalf of JNAC. He said saplings planted today would become trees and save our future generations tomorrow.

Those who were given saplings are Bhola Gorai, Anuj Kumar Sinha, Suraj Prasad, Mohammad Chand and Chandan Kumar Gupta.
