Ranchi, May 27: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred 48 IPS officers across the state. Piyush Pandey has been appointed as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Jamshedpur, replacing Kishore Kaushal, who has been posted as Commandant of JAP-7 in Hazaribagh.
Jamshedpur’s Rail SP Praveen Pushkar has been named the new Rural SP of Ranchi. Mukesh Kumar, previously with CISF Bokaro, has been appointed SP of Godda, while Rakesh Ranjan, formerly Commandant of JAP-1, will take over as SP of West Singhbhum.
Senior IPS officer Tadas Mishra has been relieved from his position as ADG Rail and appointed as Special Secretary in the Home Department. Meanwhile, Sanjay Anand Latkar has been shifted from ADG Campaign to ADG Rail. Priya Dubey, earlier serving as ADG Armed Police, has been reassigned as ADG Headquarters.
