Pink House crowned overall champion at NTTF sports meet

Jamshedpur, Feb 11: The annual sports competition at NTTF RD Tata Technical Institute Golmuri concluded with great enthusiasm within the college campus. The Pink House emerged as the overall champion, securing the highest points, while Navy Blue House claimed the runner-up position. The sports fest, inaugurated by Principal Preeta John, witnessed an exciting display of talent and sportsmanship.

Sarim was crowned the best athlete in the boys’ category, while Tanisha earned the title in the girls’ category, showcasing exceptional prowess on the field. The opening ceremony saw the lighting of the lamp by Principal Preeta John, Chief Guest Shyam Kumar Sharma, and Vice Principal Ramesh Rai. Chief Guest Shyam Kumar Sharma emphasized the importance of sports in life, highlighting its role in instilling energy and the need for determination to achieve goals.

Principal Preeta John honored the chief guest with a bouquet, acknowledging his presence at the event. Addressing the participants, she emphasized the significance of sports as a means to understand leadership and foster team spirit.

In the sports competitions, Light Blue House secured the first position in Volleyball, with Red House as the runner-up. Tanisha Pradhan claimed the first place in the girls’ 100-meter race, while Sandeep Kumar Rajak emerged victorious in the boys’ category. The 100 meters also saw Sandeep Kumar Rajak, Vikas Pandey, and Kundan Singh securing the first, second, and third positions, respectively.

The 200 meters witnessed triumphs by Sarim, Daksh, and Gautam, while in the 400 meters, Sarim and Raj Singh Daksh emerged as winners in the boys’ category, and Tanu Kumari, Anjali Kumari, and Shivangi claimed victory in the girls’ category.

Students showcased remarkable teamwork and goal achievement in sports like relay race, football, volleyball, and Kho Kho, setting an exemplary standard of team spirit. The success of the sports event was made possible through the commendable cooperation of Vice Principal Ramesh Rai, Laxman Soren, Ajit Kumar, Manish, Shashi Mishra, Hiresh, Pankaj Gupta, Ajit Kumar Anil Kumar Jawali, Shiva Prasad, Mrinmoy Mahato, Suman Kumar Mithila, Manjula, Jyoti Rajeev, and others.
