Pickup van crashes into truck from rear, several injured near Jamshedpur

Seraikela, April 30:  In a road accident that occurred on Sunday morning near Fauji Dhaba in the vicinity of Tangrine on the Saraikela-Chaibasa route, a pickup van, while returning from Jaintgarh rammed into a ten-wheeler truck parked near the Fauji Dhaba. Among the injured were three persons sitting atop the pickup van who fell due to the impact of the two vehicles. The local residents sent all the injured by a road ambulance to Saraikela Sadar Hospital. After primary treatment, medics at the Saraikela Sadar Hospital referred two of the injured to MGM Hospital for better treatment. Two others with less severe injuries were being treated at the Sadar Hospital. Among the seriously injured person traveling in the pickup van were 28-year-old Krishna Kalindi, 26-year-old Ajit Kalindi, 24-year-old Raju Kalindi and another young man who could not be identified. The unidentified man had received a deep gash on his forehead and and suffered a fracture on his left hand. He was among the two who had been referred to to the MGMC Hospital. The other two injured were undergoing treatment at the Saraikela Sadar Hospital. Among the other dozen people traveling in the pickup van some who suffered minor injuries were administered first aid and sent home.
