Jamshedpur, May 2: A physiotherapy clinic was inaugurated at RP Patel Cheshire Home in Sundarnagar by specially abled inmate, Anita. Dr Jaya Moitra expressed her gratitude to the Cheshire Disability Trust, Bengaluru, for funding and supporting the physiotherapy clinic. She stated that the clinic would also cater to the neighbourhood patients. Dr Moitra said, “The neighbourhood patients will be able to take advantage of this physiotherapy clinic. We shall make all efforts for their rehabilitation and provide services that will enable them to regain limb function and movement post injury or illness. The inmates of the Cheshire Home too will be highly benefitted.”
Among the dignitaries present during the inauguration were Awtar Singh, Shatrughan Singh, Kaushik Roy, Dr Smita Hembrom, Tazin Kullu, Lakshmi Kumari, Raj Kumar, Mitali Dey, Sister Sicily and Sister Mary among others.
