Ranchi: In a significant move to empower and support women entrepreneurs, Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced an increase in the assistance amount under the Phulo-Jhano Ashirwad Yojana. During the ‘Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ program in Koderma, the Chief Minister declared that beneficiaries of the scheme will now receive a substantial amount of Rs 50,000, up from the previous assistance of Rs 10,000.
The Phulo-Jhano Ashirwad Yojana aims to provide women involved in the sale of liquor with a dignified means of livelihood. The increased financial assistance is designed to make these women self-reliant and support their economic well-being. Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized the government’s commitment to uplifting women entrepreneurs and connecting them with respectable livelihoods.
Addressing the audience, Chief Minister Soren reflected on the state’s progress since its formation 23 years ago. Despite its abundant resources, Jharkhand has faced developmental challenges over the past two decades. Soren asserted that the current government is dedicated to transforming the state’s trajectory and eliminating the label of backwardness by 2025. He highlighted the government’s vigorous efforts to achieve self-reliance and foster overall development in the state.
