Mahila Congress releases book, ‘Satya Aapke Dwar’

Jamshedpur, Oct 6: Mahila Congress released a book, ‘Satya Aapke Dwar’ at a function organized at Agrasen Bhawan in Jugsalai on Wednesday. The book was launched by chief guest, Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi. The MLA said, “The book will definitely boost the morale of women and infuse a new confidence in them. The book has also exposed the false promises made by the Modi government and people need to know about these falsities.”
Presiding over the program, Jharkhand Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee vice-president Devika Singh said that Mahila Congress members would make door-to-door visits and inform people about the false promises and claims made by the Modi government at the Centre. Devika Singh criticized the style of functioning of the Narendra modi led central government by observing that it was an example of dictatorship at its height.
State Secretary of Mahila Congress Usha Singh termed the incident of a Minister’s son crushing farmers under his car in Lakhimpur as extremely shameful. Describing the governments of Yogi and Modi as complete failures, she demanded the resignation of the UP government.
District Congress Committee Senior Vice President Sanjay Singh Azad, Jharkhand Pradesh Mahila Congress Secretary Usha Singh, Punit Chaudhary, Aruna Mukhi, Jyoti Mishra, Sitaram Chaudhary, Purvi Dutta and others said that at the helm of the Congress party was a lady, Sonia Gandhi who was leading from the front and exposing the fallacies of the central government.
Sanjay Singh Azad observed on the occasion, “Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi did the work of giving 35 percent reservation to women. At the same time, today former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi is fighting the battle of giving 50 percent reservation to women.”
