Jamshedpur: Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata on Saturday said the people of Jamshedpur have played a vital role in making the dreams of JN Tata come true.
�People of the city have been very supportive. This is the reason why Tata Steel became such a big brand,� said Tata after paying floral tributes to the city�s founder JN Tata at Postal Park in Bistupur.
Terming chairman of Tata Group N Chandrasekaran as a skilled manager, Tata said the company will reach new heights under his leadership. He extended greetings to the people and remembered the city from where he had started his professional career. He expressed happiness over Jamshedpur making its mark as a culturally enriched and active city.
Tata was accompanied by a host of other dignitaries during the Founder�s Day celebrations in the city. He was greeted by a crowd of people at the venue.
