Seraikela: There is mood of jubilation among people at large as new SP Indrajit Mahata would take charge as Seraikela SP soon.
Mahata who had earlier been posted as SP is quite popular among people and police fraternity. As the report of his return in the district poured in law and order machinrey swung into action.
Police stations have been spurced up and police personnel were deployed in busy spots at Urmal, Chowka roundabout, Chandil and Kandra.
People here have expressed the hope that with Mahata taking charge as SP law-and-order scenario in the district would imporve and illegal trades would be stopped.
On the other hand jubilant members of Ekta Vikas Manch distributed sweets among people at Gamharia Lal Building as Indrajit Mahata has been made SP of the district for yet another time.
On the occasion the president of the organization Arvind Mishra said that Indraji Mahata is an honest and hardworking officer who would better law and order in the district.
