Patriotism prevails at Kargil Vijay Divas celebrations in Srinath Public School

Jamshedpur, July 27: Srinath Public School in Adityapur, celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas with immense pride and reverence. The school community came together to pay homage to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War while underlining their unwavering commitment to the nation.

The event was inaugurated jointly by Chief Guest and Vice Chancellor of Srinath University, Dr Govind Mahto, Founder of Sandhya-Shambhu Educational Trust Shambhu Mahto, Lieutenant Mukesh Choudhary and Srinath Public School Principal, Sanjay Kr Singh.

 Sanjay Kr Singh, in his welcome address, emphasized the importance of remembering and honouring the sacrifices of the defence services personnel for their bravery and commitment towards the nation and her people. He encouraged the students to imbibe the spirit of courage and patriotism displayed by the Bravehearts during the Kargil War.

Speeches in tribute to the soldiers and dance performances themed on patriotism, bravery and sacrifice constituted a bouquet as salutation to the defence services’ personnel. A special video, presented by the President of the organization, Warriors of Kolhan, S Shekhar, showcasing the gallant efforts of the armed forces during the Kargil War was screened on the occasion. During The Kargil Vijay Divas celebrations, the school management honoured special guest Lieutenant Mukesh Chaudhary. Other Kargil War heroes who were present during the celebration at the school were Havaldar Uday Shankar Verma, Hon Capt Sukhdev Prasad, Hon Nb Subedar Manoj Kumar and Sgt Dinesh Prasad Gupta were presented mementos as tokens of respect and honour for their courage and sacrifices in the defence of the Motherland.
