Jamshedpur, Oct 2: Patients at MGM Hospital are facing dire conditions as they are treated on the floor of the emergency department. This situation persists despite recent directives from the Principal Secretary of the Health Department, who had insisted that closed rooms within the emergency area be reopened and equipped with beds. Furthermore, urgent repairs to the emergency toilet were mandated. However, the facility remains cluttered and in disrepair, compounding the difficulties faced by patients.
In response to the deteriorating conditions, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Nakul Chaudhary conducted an inspection and issued immediate orders to vacate all rooms and undertake necessary repairs to the toilets. Following this directive, efforts were made to clear the area. Additionally, Dr. Chaudhary emphasized the need for a thorough cleaning of all hospital wards, including gynecology and pediatric areas, in preparation for the upcoming visit from the Mission Director and Principal Secretary, scheduled for Wednesday.
