Chaibasa, April 2: West Singbhum Patel Seva Sangh organized a blood donation camp at Sadar hospital in Chaibasa on Sunday.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Zilla Parishad chairperson Lalmuni Deogam who inaugurated the camp. A total of 100 units of blood were collected at the camp. In his speech Lalmuni Deogam said, blood helps save our life in severe health crisis and everyone who is physically fit should come forward and donate blood.
Deogam also appreciated the work of Patel samaj. SDO Sadar Deepu Kumar praised the noble work of Patel Samaj and said that such type of camp act as an inspiration for other volunteer organization.
Municipal Executive officer said that such type of events need wide propaganda even in school and colleges so that a large number of people should turn up to donate blood as it saves our precious life.
Civil surgeon appreciated the people of Kolhan that the blood donation is quite popular move in the district as a result the hospital never faced blood crisis.
He also owed the NGOs who are devoted to such type of blood donation. The program was anchored by Yogeshwar Singh, president of Patel Seva Sangh.
