Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed Sardar Parvinder Singh, General Secretary of the State Congress Committee, as the new in-charge of the Jharkhand unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI).
Parvinder Singh expressed his gratitude to Raju, In-charge of the Jharkhand Congress Committee, Co-Incharge Bela Prasad, and State Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh for entrusting him with this new responsibility.
With a long-standing experience in student politics, Parvinder Singh began his political journey at the block level in Jamshedpur and went on to serve as the District President of NSUI. During his tenure, he led several student movements and even faced imprisonment on multiple occasions while raising student issues.
He later held the position of State President of NSUI, during which, for the first time, student union elections were successfully conducted under his leadership in Jharkhand. The elections saw significant victories for NSUI candidates across universities and colleges in the state.
Singh’s extensive experience in student politics has been a major factor behind his recent appointment. He has assured that he will carry out his duties with utmost dedication and will work tirelessly to strengthen NSUI in Jharkhand.
