Ranchi, Feb. 2: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Parasnath is in the process of being developed as an international tourist location.
Reviewing the developmental plans of Parasnath with villagers and officers at the CRPF camp (Kalyan Niketan, Madhuban) in Giridih on Tuesday, Das said his government is working speedily to materialize the target. Since it is a historical and cultural heritage, the govt. will leave no stone unturned to preserve it.
The CM said that shelter homes will be made for daily workers and developmental work will be done on priority basis to facilitate pilgrims.
No ropeway will be constructed in the interest of daily labourers. Paying attention at the problems of villagers, he assured them that construction of bridges, roads, colleges and check dams will be done in the locality on priority basis.
He emphasised that development of Parasnath will be done as per spiritual beliefs.
In the review meeting, State tourism minister Amar Kumar Bauri, Giridih MLA Nirbhay Shahbadi, Jamua MLA Kedar Hajra, chief secretary Rajeev Gauba, principal secretary RCD Rajbala Verma, principal secretary, Water Resource Dept. Sukhdev Singh, DGP D K Pandey, DC Giridih, representatives of Jain institutions and local villagers were present on the occasion.
