Para-teachers demand honorarium

Gamharia: Para-teachers of Gamharia will soon be meeting the district superintendent of education (DSE) and handing over a memorandum to him to demand disbursement of their pending honorarium.

The state general secretary of the Para Teachers Association Narottam Singh Munda said the outfit had also demanded special leave for women teachers and a solution to the problems arising out of merger of schools.

A meeting was held in this connection at Ghora Baba temple on Friday. The teachers unanimously decided to launch agitation against delay in disbursement of honorarium by the education department.

Among those present during the meeting included Sonu Singh Sardar, Sanjay Kumar Mahato, Ranjeet Pramanik, Uday Shankar Mahato, Prabha Mandal, Keshav Mahato, Muchkun Pramanik and Narendra Mandal.
